Frequently Asked Questions

Once a watch is carefully assembled by hand, it's thoroughly tested for at least 4-5 days to make sure everything works properly…and also looks amazing.

So, if your particular watch has already been assembled and tested, and is ready to be shipped; then, once we receive your order, we package it and send it to you. This means you should be able to receive your new Edward Christopher watch in about 2-5 days - unless an Act of God or something intraterrestrial happens.

And, if you order a watch that hasn't yet been assembled, tested and packaged and isn't ready to go straight away, then it can take about 5-12 days to get to you.

We care very much about providing you not only with excellent watches, but also with excellent service before, during and after you purchase an Edward Christopher watch.

So, your watch is covered by a 5 year international warranty, effective from the date of purchase.

Your warranty must be registered within 30 days of purchase.

But...

While your warranty covers manufacturing and defects in materials, it does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse or accidental impact (including but not limited to scratches, chipping of the crystal or wearing of PVD coatings)
  • Unauthorised repair or modification work
  • Bracelets or accessories
  • Water infiltration due to failure to secure screw-down crowns or submergence at depths exceeding the rated water resistance

There are two principal ways...

  • Our social media channels
  • Our Ambassador schemes

Discover more here.

We have two Ambassador schemes...

  1. Affiliate Ambassador
  2. Brand Ambassador

Our Affiliate Ambassadors are those who (we hope) also love our watches and want to shout about them to their family, friends, colleagues and even suitably selected strangers. And for this advocacy you get paid!

Our Brand Ambassadors are those people and organisations (we'll be looking to partner with) who embody our brand's Values and believe in and do what they can to help our Mission.

Whether they're well known or unknown, they'll be the sort of people and organisations who care proactively; who, probably, are charmingly colourful; and who are also committed to helping others more than themselves.

They're the sorts who inspire your affection and admiration...and whose attitude and actions are aspirational.

We do offer financing by Klarna so you can pay in monthly instalments. Find out more details here.

Good question. We don't really believe in the date complications...as we feel these detract from a dial's and a watch's aesthetics.

Anyway, if you can truly see what the tiny date number is, why look at a date for only a few seconds - and how often do you really do even that - when you can look at our beautiful dials for hours, days months and years! Just saying.

Good question! And there's no short answer.

But, the brief version is combining a lifelong love of watches with the desire to do some real world good but helping and leaving a life enhancing legacy for children & young people in need around the world.

Yes we do for some elements. So, the principal one is with the packaging where we try to use as much recycled paper and cardboard as possible. The aluminium elements of the watch tend to be from recycled aluminium.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and unused, with the tags and in all its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Apologies, but this is not a service we offer.

Of course, if this changes, we'll let you know.
