Crowns: The case is fitted with two colour-coded embled-topped crowns, and both are fitted with triple O-ring waterproof gaskets. Hence the water resistance depth capability. The 2 o'clock crown operates the internal rotating bidirectional bezel and is operated by simply twisting the crown clockwise or anticlockwise. And the 4 o'clock crown changes the time (with time hacking) using a very simple and easy to use push-pull mechanism.
Crystals: The flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is triple coated with anti-glare coating on both sides...and is fitted with hidden O-ring gaskets
Dial: The colour-coded brass dial is painted with a hydraulically stamped 3D kaleidoscope guilloché style pattern with applied indexes which are illuminated by blue BGW9 lume
Strap: Custom made quick-release 2-piece FKM vulcanised rubber strap with 2 keepers fitted with a branded stainless steel buckle. Fits wrist sizes: 13cm-20cm.

Kaleidoscopic Guilloché Colour-Coded Dial

The Manta has a striking 3D kaleidoscope guilloché colour-coded brass dial with applied indexes, illuminated by blue BGW9 lume.

And the custom made watch hands are painted matt black and white and are illuminated by a blue-green Super-LumiNova BGW9 luminance for sustained easy reading in low light.

Comfortable Custom Made Colour-Coded Quick-Release Straps

Each of our watches come with colour-coded, custom made, quick-release, 2-piece, FKM vulcanised rubber watch straps with 2 keepers fitted.

The strap also comes with an Edward Christopher branded stainless steel buckle that means business!

Our Manta watches fit wrist sizes of 13cm-20cm/5ins-8ins (for both men and women).

Triple-Coated Anti-Glare Sapphire Crystal - On Both Sides

This watch dial is encased by a flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a triple-coated anti-glare coating on both sides.

It's also fitted with hidden O-ring gaskets (most luxury watches are fitted with visible gaskets...and their visibility, albeit minimal, can detract a little from the look & feel of the watch. Just saying!).

Reduced Packaging, Increased Style

While the vast majority of packaging for high end and luxury watches is voluminous and makes an often appealing and grand design and size statement, we've chosen instead to make a greater packaging statement!

Because ours is based on a reduced use of packaging (we try to use as much recycled paper and cardboard as possible) while keeping up the highest practical and style standards.

So, your watch is still beautifully presented on a cream cushion in our elegant box (in the Edward Christopher brand colour) that contains everything else you need: your cloth watch bag, your watch cloth and your warranty card, as well as the styled protective elements. All contained in one smaller, but still beautifully packaged presentation box.

Beautifully made

Beautifuly made, easy to fit and a pleasure to use. No problems fitting standard bracelets, straps and NATO's. Spacing around springbar is a close fit so my thicker leather NATO was a no go.

Had the pleasure of meeting Sean and his fantastic Watch Brand at the Manchester Watch show recently And from the moment my eyes connected with the Sky blue Manta it had my heart the quality and craftsmanship is amazing I can’t believe how much detail has been put into this timepiece The guilloche Dial is a masterpiece and wouldn’t look out of place on any high end watch and the colour is outstanding it was in my opinion the standout piece at the show The strap is excellent and very comfortable and even the buckle hasn’t escaped Sean’s attention to detail Value for Money is superb and with the added benefit of every purchase supporting a worthy cause Edward Christopher is a great addition to the British Watchmakers industry and I’m sure will go from strength to strength and I can’t wait to see what Sean does next.
