Hypnotising: The mesmerising rippled dial of this fully custom made 38mm dress watch & everyday watch is something that you and others simply won't be able to stop looking at.
Sized for both men & women, the 3D rippling effect that emanates from the Edward Christopher logo motif, is complemented by faceted leaf hour, minute & second hands - all of which are highlighted with Super-LumiNova (BGW9).
And although there's no bezel, to maintain this timepiece's elegant minimalism, there are 12 angular cuts around the dial edge to give subtle guidance on the time in 5 minute intervals
To minimize any design distractions, there are no complications. And 12 time markers are notched subtly around the inner case edge, in 5 minute intervals, to allow the dial design its full visual and aesthetic power.
The motif-topped screw-down crown is in the more user friendly 4 o'clock position, designed to be easily accessible and usable...and maintains the inviting lines that blend the best of both the masculine and feminine.
And all three elegant leaf hands, each with BGW9 Super Lumi-Nova, blend beautifully with the dial ripples.
The striking visuals continue on the underside with the sapphire crystal exhibition case back. This features a unique and distinctive vented rotor, in our Edward Christopher violet/purple brand colour (on all these watches), that drives the Miyota 9039 self-winding automatic movement, with its 42 hour power reserve.
And, as the ripples spread out under the anti-glare sapphire crystal, there's a sense that they'll keep going beyond the elegant confines of the 316L marine grade stainless steel case.
A suggestion of a positive psychological impact way beyond the physical boundaries of the watch.

The brushed 316L stainless steel, custom made, minimalist, integrated quick-release bracelet, with polished chamfers, follows the charming curves of the case.
And it also comes with a micro-adjust clasp complete with an engraved Edward Christopher logo in our violet/purple brand colour on the outside and an engraved brand name & logo on the clasp's inside.
And this watch's lugs are designed so you can easily fit any 20mm strap or alternative bracelet, to change the look and feel even further.
Not only is there some eye-catcingly bright Super-LumiNova (BGW9) on all three dial hands and the Edward Christopher motif (it's a block of lume) on the dial...
But on the Ripple's custom made rotor (oscillating mass) the engraved lines are filled with Super-LumiNova (BGW9).
Unusual, yes. But we believe that if you're going to have your rotor on display in an exhibition case back, then make it truly and aesthetically interesting.
