The Imperial Violet range sold out in 72 hours

The Ripple (Special Edition). Beyond comparison.

The Imperial Violet range was snapped-up. But now there are other Special Edition colours coming (see below).

The NEW Special Edition Range

Electric Blue Edition

Some days you need permission to be the most switched-on person in the room. This is that permission, worn on your wrist. Electric blue hands against a mirrored dial that seems to charge itself off the light around it — the watch equivalent of walking in a beat ahead of everyone else. The one that hums with quiet voltage.

Blossom Pink Edition

There's a specific kind of confidence that doesn't need to shout — it just knows. Soft pink hands against pure mirrored silver, doing the quiet work of making a room, and you, feel a little calmer the second you walk in. Not decoration. Just your distinguished and disarming disposition. The one that settles and improves things.

Robin Hood Green Edition

Not every hero wears a crown. Some wear green, live in the woods, and take matters into their own hands. Robin Hood didn't hoard what he had — he moved it to where it mattered. Green hands against a mirrored dial, on a watch that does exactly the same thing, £35 at a time, with every single order. A little outlaw spirit dressed up as good taste. The one with a cause behind it, not just a name.

Cardinal Red Edition

Some days call for quiet. This isn't one of them. Red hands on a mirrored dial that never apologises for taking the room — the kind of watch that gets strangers to ask "where's that from?" before you've even sat down. Not for blending in. A bold choice for a bold person with style and confidence, worn by the version of you that isn't asking permission.

This isn't the Ripple with a different dial colour. It's a different watch entirely.

The standard Ripple is bold, colourful, conversation-starting. The Special Edition is something else. Something quieter. More unsettling.

Where the coloured Ripples wear their character openly, the Special Edition keeps its secrets. An all-steel, fully mirrored 3D dial — no colour, no distraction, just pure sculpted form catching the light in ways that are genuinely difficult to explain to someone who hasn't seen it in person.

And then there are the hands. Where every other Ripple has silver hands, the first Special Edition carried violet — our brand colour — as a signature. The only colour on the watch. It shouldn't work as well as it does.

But now, with the new Special Edition ranges, there will be NEW matching colour hands & rotors (see above).

Hodinkee called the depth and individuality of the mirrored dial "truly beyond comparison." We thought that was rather good. So we kept it.

We're not the only people talking about our Special Edition Ripples

"Edward Christopher is coming in hot with a 25-piece, limited-edition watch unlike anything I've seen before. A 38mm slice of '70s integrated-bracelet design frames the hypnotic dial of this aptly named model, the 'Ripple'.

"A mirrored, 3D-rippled dial emanating from the logo creates depth and individuality that are truly beyond comparison.".

"Edward Christopher not only brings a limited-edition model but also an entirely new model range. The Ripple is unlike anything Edward Christopher has made before, yet it still emphasises stunning colours.

"The 38mm stainless steel case mixes elements of dress and sports watches with a captivating dial. The 3D mirror dial mimics rippling water radiating from the brand’s logo. Notches around the bezel provide the hour markers without disturbing the mesmerising effect."

There's a name behind every Special Edition, too

Edward Christopher® isn't a name we invented. It belongs to two real British men — Edward and Christopher — who, entirely separately, each saved the life of a child in danger.

Every watch we sell triggers a meaningful donation to support children and young people in need.

The Special Edition is no different — except that, being produced in numbered limited edition runs, each one carries that purpose in a more concentrated form than anything else we've produced so far.

Limited edition watches. Heartfelt donations. Even moire great conversations waiting to happen.

Not printed. Not engraved. Sculpted.

The Special Edition's mirrored 3D dial is a fully sculpted, custom-made surface — concentric rings radiating outward from the Edward Christopher® logo motif at the centre, like a carefully crafted stone dropped into still water.

But without colour to guide the eye, the mirrored finish does something even more mesmerising than our coloured edition Ripples. It reflects. It shifts. It responds to the light around it, and to the movement of your wrist. One moment understated, the next — extraordinary.

Under an anti-glare sapphire crystal, you'll find yourself looking at it far more than you need to.

No bezel. No clutter. No apologies.

The Special Editions shares the Ripple's core design philosophy — restraint in service of dramatic visuals.

No complications. No bezel. 12 angular cuts marking the inner case edge at 5-minute intervals: present enough to read the time, invisible enough to let the dial rule.

The motif-topped screw-down crown sits at 4 o'clock — the most naturally accessible position on your wrist, keeping the case profile clean from every angle.

The movement. The rotor. The colour signature.

Inside, the Miyota 9039 automatic movement delivers reliable, precise timekeeping with a 42-hour power reserve.

Through the sapphire crystal exhibition caseback, you'll see the custom-made vented rotor — designed exclusively for Edward Christopher®, finished in one of our Special Edition colours.

It's the only other place that colour lives on this watch. And it glows. Because the engraved lines on the rotor are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 — visible only to you, through the caseback, in the dark.

Something beautiful that only the owner knows about. That feels right for a watch like this.

A bracelet that fits like it was made for you. (Because it was)

The integrated brushed 316L stainless steel bracelet is custom-made to follow the Special Edition case's curves exactly.

So you have polished chamfers, quick-release system, and a micro-adjust clasp engraved with the Edward Christopher® logo in violet on the outside and the full brand name on the inside.

Not only that, but with 8 bracelet links (all of them with grown-up, sophisticated link screws — no split pins) on each side, this watch enables you to change the sizing to fit women's and men's wrists (14.5cm-23.5cm / 5.7in-9.25in).

Standard 20mm lug spacing means the day you want a different look, you've got one.

It glows in two places you didn't expect

BGW9 Super-LumiNova on all three coloured leaf hands.

A solid block of lume on the Edward Christopher® logo on the dial.

And those engraved lines on the custom matching colour rotor — glowing blue/green in the dark behind the case back.

A watch with a secret. Three of them, actually.

Every Special Edition colour is a strictly limited run. Our Violet edition sold out in 72 hours. Each new colourway is numbered and capped. Batch sizes vary, but every one is strictly limited. And, once they're gone, they're gone. Waitlist members get priority access before we announce anything publicly.
