Our Manta Revelare is the open case back version of our Manta, the award-winning custom made everyday sports & dive watch is inspired by the Manta Ray.
The Giant Oceanic Manta Ray can grow up to a maximum of 9m (30ft) in length and with a weight of about 3,000kg (6,600lb).
The Revelare has the same quality design, colour scheme and Swiss automatic movement. It's just reveals (hence the Latin terms revelare) the movement & our unique oscillating mass (rotor).
But the key difference is that the Manta Revelare has an open case back with an eye-catchingly unique custom made Giant Manta Ray style rotor that's visible through the sapphire crystal glass. And...revelare is Latin for reveal.

Kaleidoscopic Guilloché Colour-Coded Dial
The Manta Revelare has a striking 3D kaleidoscope guilloché colour-coded brass dial with applied indexes, illuminated by blue BGW9 lume.
And the custom made watch hands are painted matt black and white and are illuminated by a blue-green Super-LumiNova BGW9 luminance for sustained easy reading in low light.
Internal Rotating Bidirectional Bezel
The watch has an internal rotating bidirectional bezel, made from aluminium, with 60 smooth and crunchy clicks.
And the bezel numerals are also illuminated by a blue-green Super-LumiNova.
Loaded With Super-LumiNova
The watch markers are made from blocks (yes, blocks) of blue-green Super-LumiNova. No sparse Lumi lines here!
And these complement the equally sustaining brightness of the hands.
Swiss Self-Winding Mechanical Movement
This watch is powered by a Swiss made Sellita automatic (self-winding) mechanical movement with 26 jewels.
This movement also has time hacking (synchronising your watch to the second) and a power reserve of 38 hours.
It also has water resistance to depths of 200m/660ft.
Comfortable Custom Made Colour-Coded Quick-Release Straps
Each of our watches come with colour-coded, custom made, quick-release, 2-piece, FKM vulcanised rubber watch straps with 2 keepers fitted with an Edward Christopher branded stainless steel buckle that means business!
Our Manta Revelare watches fit wrist sizes of 13cm-20cm/5ins-8ins (for both men and women).
Two Colour-Coded Custom Crowns
The case is fitted with two colour-coded tubes & crowns...and both are fitted with triple waterproof O-ring gaskets.
The 2 o'clock crown operates the internal rotating bidirectional bezel...and the 4 o'clock crown, with the Edward Christopher logo motif, changes the time.
Triple-Coated Anti-Glare Sapphire Crystal - On Both Sides
This watch dial is encased by a flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a triple-coated anti-glare coating on both sides.
It's also fitted with hidden O-ring gaskets (most luxury watches are fitted with visible gaskets...and their visibility, albeit minimal, can detract a little from the look & feel of the watch. Just saying!).
Reduced Packaging, Increased Style
While the vast majority of packaging for high end and luxury watches is voluminous and makes an often appealing and grand design and size statement, we've chosen instead to make a greater packaging statement!
Because ours is based on a reduced use of packaging (we try to use as much recycled paper and cardboard as possible) while keeping up the highest practical and style standards.
So, your watch is still beautifully presented on a cream cushion in our elegant box (in the Edward Christopher brand colour) that contains everything else you need: your cloth watch bag, your watch cloth and your warranty card, as well as the styled protective elements. All contained in one smaller, but still beautifully packaged presentation box.

They're giant, charismatic geniuses. Mantas have huge brains - the biggest of any fish - with especially developed areas for learning, problem solving and communicating. They're playful, curious and are also friendly to humans.
